Keel Crossing [opened 18.10.25] - compendium thread

Give the project manager a pasting for not delivering the project on time.

Thousands flocking into the city and we have the newest landmark incomplete with the worlds eyes upon the city.
Completion date wasnt august so good luck giving a kicking. Project team are doing their best to deliver earlier

PM will need to adhere to a budget. Can't just throw money at it to get trades to leave their current jobs.

It's not Saudi.

Everyone knows that certain trades are in short supply.

Original opening date was 2024, now it's Summer 2025. Will we hit Summer 2025? Or will it be delayed?
Most of the projects that youre seeing come to completion at this time have went severely over budget and completion due to the pandemic times and building costs soaring.....remember loads of big building companies have gone to the wall in the last 3 years

Definitely no shambles about it

It's due to open permanently mid-October, so Wolves is likely the first game.

You can see it's 95% complete now and is even opening for a day next weekend, I don't understand the issue. These things happen and ultimately it makes bugger all difference. It's a relatively small slip in programme for the scale of the project.
