we've signed about 100m worth of midfielders. if we get Lucumi that'll be more than 50m or so worth of defenders including the keeper. don't know exact figures obviously but must be something along those lines

i just don't see them spending all that and then chancing it with not signing a known quantity striker

im only just slightly sad that Ballard is gonna end up out of the side! But I’ll get over it

He and the others will be in on merit. Plus, we are bound to end up with injuries and suspensions. Ballard scores more goals than Alderete or Big Jhon, so I think he only loses his place for the time being if he gets injured, suspended or loses form. Will also depend on the opposition we face and what we expect to get out of the game.
