Jhon Lucumi - Transfer Rumour

Bologna not wanting to sell, could rumble on a bit but in the mean time we have the defenders so its not like we'll be desperate.
Bologna don't have the strongest of hands with this one, he's in his last year of his contract and said he isn't signing a new one so it's either sell him this window for 20mil approx. or lose him for nothing.

RB - Hume / Mukiele / (Huggins if he stays)
RCB - Ballard / Mukiele / O'Nien
LCB - Alderete / Lucimi / Reinildo / (Seelt if he stays) / (Alese if he stays)
LB - Reinildo / Masuaku / (Cirkin if he stays) / (Alese if he stays) / (Huggins if he stays)

Proper, proper depth and quality that. What were we worried about the other week? ;)
Triantis has an important part to play in that, or so I reckon/desire

Back three....5 in mid ...i think it’s becoming an option
Would mean we wouldn’t have any wingers in the pitch though. Can’t see them paying that much out on wingers not to play them

Gives us plenty options. Personally I hope we never play a back five. I know it was the championship but we looked f***ing shocking everytime we tried to play it

Feel a bit for Ballard if this happens like. Lad's done everything right but no way would this guy and Omar come here to be backups.

There’s probably some concern about Ballard’s durability given his injury history and they don’t want to take risks. Lucumi might be a better pick if we want to play a bit more on the front foot as well. Ballard perfect for playing as we did the other day but if we push up a bit he might be a bit more vulnerable on the spin.

This. He was already limping about on Saturday
