Is Trai Hume good enough for the Prem?

Trai Hume & Dan Ballard were our stand out stars last season.
To replace Hume with someone as good would cost so much money.
Granit Xhaka will absolutely love Trai, hard as f@@k!
Stay here please.
Not really.
Ballard only featured in 20 games.
Hardly stand out until the May triumvirate where he was outstanding

At his current (last year's) level I think he's probably somewhere between a below-average and a poor PL right back, BUT he has shown consistent growth in his game the past few seasons so he should continue to improve. I'd like us to sign an established RB (w/ top flight experience, not necessarily PL) for quality, depth, and to help Trai grow this season.

As much as I love him, Ballard didn't stand out at all until the play offs, mind. In fact, he was pretty mediocre and here nor there until then. Let's not rewrite history.
Couldn't agree more. I like Ballard but there's a lot of blinkered views about him due to his performances in the play offs. During the main season he was hit and miss. Hopefully he can make the step up but it's not a shoe in. I worry about his rashness in the penalty area against quick feeted centre forwards for example. He's not the quickest either.

We have to balance the PSR books so some players will need to be sold.

The more valuable they appear the bigger the temptation to sell.

He reminds me of the red and white tractor so I'd be disappoint if he left.

In Régis we trust

I think he has a very good chance but needs to keep improving and there’s no reason he can’t

My biggest concerns about Trai is 1v1s against tricky opponents and stopping crosses coming in
His receiving of the ball has come on leaps and bounds, in possession he’s very good
