Calvert-Lewin (discussion on transfer)

Read yesterday that we were supposedly interested in Calvert Lewin, but he's waiting to see if he gets any other offers?! I'd tell him to do one!
 

Helicopter landed at AOL

Picked up from Liverpool airport then straight to AOL (although listed as landing at Nissan helipad, it came down in to the AOL)

Any flight manifest info visible @Redwhite3stripe ?

Particularly now the clause in Guiu’s contract has come out revealing we’ve agreed certain appearance assurances. It looks like we’re hoping Guiu will be the main man with potentially another winger coming in on the right to hopefully chip in with goals and assists.

We’ve already spent a fortune and with work still to do in defence our budget isn’t bottomless despite the hungry ogre tag.

Nothing against the player himself, but he gives off Rodwell vibes. He’d be on big wages, will think he’s better than the club even though he’s done nothing of note in his football career, probably one of the most overrated players in the Premier League. I genuinely don’t think he’s as good as Isidor or Mayenda ( just an opinion). If we have to pay a big Bosman wage on a free agent, then I would prefer it to be spent on a quality centre back.
 
I think he's done. Injuries have ruined him whether that's a mental or physical thing I don't know but I would stay well away. Looked poor every time I saw him last year and couldn't get games ahead of that Beto!
