Not me, I've always thought we'd struggle, yes made excellent signing but the squad was woefully weak, now it's barely adequate, the defense will be blitzed week in week out, needs plugged big time, but I have no doubt the club know this and will have bodies in before seasons end.

The work so far has been excellent but yer right. Now we need to get the defenders we need and see about some squad depth. Having Aleksic sitting on the bench is not gonna swing a game in our favour. We need quality subs.

Let’s be honest there’s seems to be more choice out there for good level midfielders and wingers it’s defenders and strikers that seem a rarer breed these days hence the mags being linked with £80m bigs for a player I’ve not heard of. Strikers and defenders are a lot harder to get over the line.

We’ve targeted potential for the likes of Sadiki, Talbi, Roefs, and Guiu but understandably it’s experience we’re seemingly after in central defence.

Established players at the top level will no doubt have options and will have a higher value.
