This is a good point actually. We must have had some positive feedback to go in with a bid as no club wants to bid for a player they have zero chance to sign and are 100% going to get a public knockback . That story is an amalgamation of old and new news. The other teams mentioned haven’t followed through with offers, only us. I think this now comes down to the player, if he pushes it from his side it’ll happen. I get the impression his agent is touting him around looking for “a better offer”

We need some quick movement which sounds daft after all we have dome so far in the strangest transfer window in my lifetime (I'm 49) The Keane last day window was great and funny as it was all in one day, but the level of players and the money involved is just well well above anything that we are used to.
