Absolutely agree on the reasoning, but our issue is that the vast majority of our "easiest" for the entire season all occur either prior to or within a week of the window closing.

We are desperate to get 2 x CB's and a GK in ASAP, and ideally prior to the West Ham game.

Agree. I know we have reinoldo to come it at left back. But that back line tonight is way off what we need.

It’s a struggle from day one anyway. Anyone who can take umbrage with the way they’ve went about the window so far had absolutely unattainable goals. We’ve done cracking so far in this window better than anyone could’ve hoped for imho. They’ll know what we still need but won’t be bent over backwards as we’ve shown so far.

You don’t class Ballard as high level championship? We don’t know who will be available day one there’s still the best part of three weeks left till kick off.

Yes Ballard is obviously a high level championship player, but equally as obviously, we play two centre backs at once.

The season is in fact less than 3 weeks away, and we won't be signing someone on the Thursday and throwing him straight into the team on the Saturday. We haven't run out of time yet obviously, but it is becoming very tight to get someone in and get them connected enough to play in the first game.

Hoping for an out of the blue "deal agreed" for a centre half by the end of the week so ideally they can play in the last pre-season game.

We seem to love an out of the blue signing. Normally I’d be worried and I’ll be honest i have been one of the few pulling these owners up during windows on here but you can’t argue with the way they’ve attacked this one. If a deal was right we’d have had a few in by now is my assumption. It’s not ideal but I’m betting by the time we kick off we will have someone in and by the end of the window most if not all of what we need d will be either bought or loaned. As someone that’s been vocal on here in the past they’ve done way more so far in this window than I thought they would and I expect they’re far from finished.
