Robin Roefs 🇳🇱 Signed!

After missing out on three targets they've done the right thing moving quickly for this one, no messing
This one's a keeper.
He was just as poor, just different level of transfer fee and expectation.

It’s generally a league of klobbers with the odd hidden gem.

A lot of talent comes through Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV - not sure about the others tbh. Haven’t read the RAWA minutes yet - how much more do we have to spend?
£12.99.

Mate, I live in Spain. I surf for SAFC stuff all the time. I get feeds all the time. A few I trust as not just speculative click-bait I do have a clear memory of seeing that and paying close attention. I can't remember the source though.
Was quoted as saying he'd had offers but had turned them down because this was the club he wanted.
I am ageing but I'm not at the stage yet (hopefully) where I dream things up and next day believe them to be reality.
Hope not anyway.
Happened to my Great-Auntie Ethel. Got confused later on. Thought Dixon of Dock Green had dirt on her.
He signed his last contract in 2023 but the echo ran a story saying his contract terms had improved due to promotion although basically every players contract will have.
It did also say in there that he had no intention of leaving despite interest of other clubs so maybe that is what you’re remembering. It was from June.

Evri knocked on my door tonight and says "I've got a parcel for your neighbour" I say "you've got the wrong house mate" and shut door.

Patto will stay and will compete with this fella, perhaps Patto will improve with our new GK coach and the competition.

Either way it is risky to go into a prem season with those two, who both have no experience at this level. It is essential to have a competent keeper to survive this league. I would have preferred if we bought one with premier league experience, I would have been satisfied with Ramsdale.

So you'd prefer a goalkeeper we know isnt good enough to keep a side in the premier league above one that we dont know if they are or not?

Would be satisfied with Ramsdale, apparently. A player who knows how to be relegated and has admitted he can't concentrate on the game for 90 mins so occupies himself daydreaming and "bantering" with the supporters... Christ 😂

Reckon they might bring another keeper in aswell, with Patterson and Moore to go.
Agree with this. Listening to the Dutch football expert interviewed on WMS podcast it sounds unlikely that he’s ready to go straight into PL. Think it’s more likely he’s seen as a back up keeper and one to develop for the future.

I can see it. The summer long pursuit of goalkeepers sends a clear message to Patterson that the club don’t see him as a premier league keeper yet. The fact that the player we’ve brought in to be number one is younger than him suggests it’s not his lack of maturity/ experience. I can’t see him being happy to be a back up keeper at this stage in his career.

I can't see us paying up to €13m for a backup keeper. Especially when we have other keepers like Matty Young coming through.

This lad will start. The club don't mind taking risks and gambles with young players.

Maybe, but Patterson’s value is probably at least equal to this and people see him as a back up now..
