I really like him I just think him being a leggie will count against him.

But if he makes himself one of England best batsman. Him being able to bowl decent legspin will be a useful thing in the future.

He's still got the best part of 20 years left of a career surely anyway. So plenty of time for him to be the GOAT leg spinning all rounder :lol:

It's probably more of a concern that a respondent takes those claims seriously.
i.e. that it's tongue in cheek humour :)

With the regularity that posters double down on their claim and protest at no other reason, it comes across as their genuine opinion. I would like to believe they know better and don’t believe it

Yeh, it is becoming tired,which makes it even more surprising that people bite.
Pity that we've digressed from the purpose of the thread- the emergence of a really exciting new talent.

He is an excellent talent who will definitely add to his current tally of test caps in the near future.

Not many highlights kicking about. Some tremendous deliveries, beating the bat on both sides. Great to see.
 
He has just taken his 7th wicket of the second innings. Derbyshire 9 down - Rehan Ahmed looking for 14th with of match to go alongside his first innings century.
