No doubt they’ll have said that, they’ll have cited “experience” too, and, will no doubt find a way to make a negative of us signing xhaka.

It’s not expertise, it’s just saying what everyone does without seeing the real picture
 
2-3 months ago I'd have agree'd but I think we've done some great business so far, better than Leeds and Burnley anyway. Only thing I'd say they have over us is that they had a better overall squad they were promoted with.

Players we’ve signed though are a step above what they had in the championship imho.

It’s funny him and cartlidge have been the complimentary ones! They are actual football journalists.
 
Modern punditry - refuse to call it journalism - is basically don’t stray from the accepted opinion and you’ll have a job for as long as you want it.

Bunch of sheep with wafer thin arguments, opinions and drip-fed stats & sound bites,

Never watch the build up or halftime discourse. It’s cliche nonsense designed to be inoffensive and bland.

Then Micah laughs and it’s all banter.

Your points are valid, but the ‘untested in PL’ is just tedious. Dont sign that Henry, Ronaldo or Cantona - they don’t have any PL experience- the PL is a high standard but world football does not rely on it alone for world class player production.
