More journalists writing us off

Latest being the football ramble, the mag on there couldn’t wait to have a pop. He doesn’t know where we’re going to get a point from 😂 smacks of a bunch of journalists who never poke their heads outside of the premier league bubble.

Cartledge was on a week ago and stuck his neck out saying we’d stay up.

He is a MLF like…

The sad truth is, its Premier league or nowhere...and it stinks.
Hence Keith Downey should never be allowed access to our club.
His claim that no one is interested outside the top flight is nonsense. Safc fans want to know about Safc.
No Brighton fan watches Sky Sports News to find out about Newcastle or Everton or Forest.

We're still favourites to go down. It's not surprising. It is a risk signing these youngsters with no premier league experience.

It might turn out really well, but equally, it might not. I'm more than happy to see us use this approach rather than signing the likes of Longstaff.

exactly this

relegated before we kick off - I think we’re going to make a few so called football pundits lol silly this season
Agree, I’m not saying we’re gonna be safe by Christmas or anything like that but I really think it’s gonna be a very different premier league bottom this season. A few clubs have had iffy few months. Teams like Brentford Bournemouth are just two that may struggle. West Ham finished the season with their fans moaning again I expect them to sack their manager before Christmas. Wolves too there’s so many clubs with question marks over them this season. We will still be down there along with Leeds and Burnley but I really fancy at least one to stay up this season.

I like this podcast, but they are so big 6 and premier league focussed it becomes tiresome, and at times they sound a wee bit out of touch. They’re big mag sympathisers too.

Of course we're favourites, we still have the same keeper, pretty much the same defence and the same strikers that finished 24 points behind the top two who were shite not long ago playing in this league. The midfield we have are (Adingra apart) are completely untested in this league.
Why people find it baffling people are predicting we will go down is bizarre

The takeaway from the games so far is we look decent and quite dynamic going forward (not that it translated into goals) but also it doesn’t seem like the opposition have to do an awful lot to score or get at our keeper. Scoring goals will be feckin hard in the PL we can’t afford to be going to pieces at the back

Not sure why anyone would expect anything less. We finished 24 points behind the two other teams who are favourites for the drop so we’ve catching up to do on them before we even think about the rest of the league.

It’s not some massive conspiracy against us. We’re the weakest team in the league, but a couple of good defensive additions and a new striker could change that.
