England v India - Third Test, 10/07

It’s not even Crawley/Popes numbers that wind me up. They’ve consistently got themselves out in the same way for what feels like 2/3 years now and have seemingly made no effort to address their flaws

Should be the last we see of Crawley. Averages barely 30 after 50+ tests. Not good enough.

Desperate for a partnership here.
You'd think so, absolute joke shot. But he's undroppable for the men in charge.

Worst possible start by us this morning. No one in the top order hung around to actually help out. Twats.

Now we have our 2 best players facing a relatively hard ball on a pitch that's doing something.

Need a miracle from here to win or save this test.

The lack of technical quality on show from Big Zak and Little Ollie is spellbindingly awful.

Crawley just flails the bat at anything slightly wide, with next to no foot movement. Pope can barely cope with *checks notes* a ball that moves a little bit.

How much longer, England? How much longer do we need to suffer this predictably awful rubbish?
It's technical issues and Mccullum is not and has never been a technical coach, he's all mental

Brook's ego getting the better of him again. Doesn't matter that we're 50 for 3, just have a massive swipe
Batting like he's on that pitch against New Zealand (batting like a madman at the time but it came off and ended up being utter brilliance).
This pitch isn't that

That has to be the end of Crawley’s time now. It can’t be the case that an opening batsmen just throws his hands at everything, frequently playing and missing, frequently edging or lofting and subsequently being dismissed without losing their place.

Sides don’t fear him and he isn’t effective. It’s not nice that he has to keep being criticised for it either. It’s on the management
Division 2 sides don't fear him. Absolutely mind blowing he opens the batting for England. Stand by my view that he's either good at golf or it's a job for the boys ECB/Key selection.
