Why is it a "daft" argument, just because it disagrees with yours man?

He was wealthy beyond wealthy before he left Scouseland.

He didn't need the money, and he pissed all over every principle he had stood for by going.

I would not have done the same in his position.

One of the strangest things about the Henderson thing is that people can't believe some people wouldn't make the move.

I accept he made it, accept Max Power made it. I wouldn't make it.

I'm not lying, I just wouldn't do it. I believe others who say they would make it. I don't see why it's so hard to believe others wouldn't
 
Didn’t someone say Hendysons da was telling people it was on? Did they actually clarify which club it “was on” with?

I am going to go out on a limb and say that I am glad he’s not coming back. He may or may not have been good for us, but we need to think about the future and not stuck in this romantic, nostalgic idea that our heroes come home and save us from whatever.

Henderson is a professional footballer whose primary concern is, like the vast majority of players, the value of his contract. Also, if he came back he’d be on a proverbial hiding to nothing; anything less that miracles every game would be judged and condemned

We as a club need to stop looking in the rear view mirror and hoping that the JHs of the world might come back to us, instead we need to be finding the next generation of players that can exceed what Henderson has achieved

I will note that I have had a few glassses of very fine Clare Valley Shirazes, so make of this what you will

I would go to Saudi for nothing to shag Kim Kardashian and I'd pay for my own flight. My morals only go so far.

Back to Hendo, slightly disappointed, but with the risk it could be as much a disaster as a success I'm not gutted.

Not me. I said I'd heard that we'd had no contact and saw the WhatsApp's saying so.

This place said he’d play for us for nowt because he’s earned his coin in saudi, he’ll be on a fortune in the smoke man he’s not finished earning. Fair play to the greedy get I’d be doing the same. This place knas nowt.
