mind, part of me thinks RLB/KLD won’t be interested in signing Hendo, as it would take away the captaincy opportunity and playing time of our young players like Neil…

Would they prioritise staying in the prem over developing young players…

He had a lot of poor games last season, yet a lot of very good games. His physique is questionable to battle with some midfielders in the Premier League and he would struggle to step up. Who in the side shows leadership on the pitch?
His manager speaks very highly of the work he does/done on the pitch

Club have shared videos of him speaking in the dressing room. I respect your opinion and it’s nothing against Neil, like I say I have a lot of time for him. Just feel like we are going to another level. For me Dan Neil probably won’t cut it and if he is going too shouldn’t have the burden of the captaincy on his arm, nor do I feel like it’s right for us as a club.

People need to wake up about dan neil. The same people who say Patterson is fantastic yet the club have realised not good enough for top level. Dan Neil is an average championship player. In a play off side in the championship he was regarded as our 3rd best central midfielder behind jobe and rigg. Gets caught in possession loads, not many assists, not many goals, not a great tackler, daft red cards. Pull up his stats if you want. If he was that good clubs would be queuing up for him especially as his contract running down. Alex Neil dropped him in a heartbeat and we barely lost a game when he did. He’s not as good as jobe, rigg and pritchard was also better than him. He’s a local lad who is decent no better. Sounds like he maybe thinks he’s better than he is. I think he’ll regret not signing a contract sooner. His performance in play off final for a captain was disgraceful.
