That’s a lot of drinking. If you've heard of more then 5 bands/artists on a Quietus AOTY list then you're an official NMRT Aficionado and will be welcomed to the cult in person. We meet once every King Gizzard album at the Isis, 7pm.

Olafur is genius. And I’ll give Wet Leg a go

Don’t know them. They sound like?Poor Creature are the one I'm most wanting to hear. A few of the rest, also, as well as all of the above.

I’ll give that a listen then. Mogwai with Lankum and Caroline supporting at Crystal Palace soon. And the Twilight Sad I thinkTwo of Lankum and one of Landless. Haunting Irish folk.

One of Jay Som's new songs features Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World and it's good. Thanks to all for mid year lists. Means I can work through some of them during the summer holidays whilst looking after the garden.
Clipse is an interesting one for me - never quite made it to the big time but produced and championed by The Neptunes in the past. Olafur is an obvious must. Saw that Jay Som has a new single out which is also of interest

Didn’t know if Pharrell was still involved. Could’ve googled but just couldn’t be bothered. But that’s great news. Will definitely get a spin or two.First two songs are great, only one of them's on the album which is a shame cos So Be It is probably my favourite song of the year so far. Pharrell's still doing all the production for them but obviously no Chad anymore. First time I've heard Pharrell make music that actually sounds inspired in a loooong time. Got a Nas verse on the album as a nice little treat on top.
Erykah Badu album next week as well and the first single sounded really good, all the early noughties Hip Hop & R&B legends coming out to play!
Loved ‘Hell Hath No Fury’ back in the day, some great beats on it.Thanks to all for mid year lists. Means I can work through some of them during the summer holidays whilst looking after the garden.

Looking forward to Clipse as well. Never listened to them before but a fan of Pusha. Managed to see him in Berlin when I was there about 5 or 6 years ago. Saw him one night and MGMT the other.
Just realised Natalie Bergman released a new album recently. Her last one on Third Man Records was really good. And she's a good looking woman.
