£50000 was offered to everyone TL and above nowt new thereOne I know was offered £50k but reckons its not enough so declined. They told him to go away and think about and let them know in a week
Exactly. Like I posted earlier the q&a released with brief was from 2017 when the CC did have a say. We worked out that £50000 in 2017 was worth £66000.Should be 75k at least for 25 years service. People were getting 30k for 10 years service only 6 years ago (and that was man staff.)
This new one is ideal for anyone going in the next 2 years but that’s about it. 50k is nout for someone not close to retirement.
Recap 1 was £10,000 in 2006 so £50,0000 is good amount of money for 2025. Seems like the people moaning are not even in scope but want to have a say as to what is the correct amount of money£50000 was offered to everyone TL and above nowt new there

A good amount of money for what? When they are earning that in a year lol. Back to my original point 50k is good if your close to retirement but nout else. If you’ve been there 25 year your probably a bit old to ‘retrain’ for something else and that’s not enough to cover you for a mortgage etc.Recap 1 was £10,000 in 2006 so £50,0000 is good amount of money for 2025. One pund for every yearJust wait till they get bored and offer standard government redundancy process to people. Seen it happen a few times when they could not get the numbers.
Can’t offer less than what they have paid in the past for redundancies it’s either the same or improvedJust wait till they get bored and offer standard government redundancy process to people. Seen it happen a few times when they could not get the numbers.
£50000 in 2017 and for less service, based on your quote £10000 rising to £50000 in 11 year then they should be offering at least £75000.Recap 1 was £10,000 in 2006 so £50,0000 is good amount of money for 2025. want to bet on that one. They will find a loop hole. This is recap. Next step are basic redundancy packages. Can’t offer less than what they have paid in the past for redundancies it’s either the same or improved

We all want to hope it doesn’t come to that. Be a nightmare getting shafted that way.they can and if they don’t get the numbers they could just go to compulsory statutory levels, it’s a massively failing business. Wake up.

It’s not the case though is itRecap is not a good thing for the business it's given as a second to last resort... those people who take it, the job they were in will no longer be there ... it's not a prize for years of service it's a way of removing jobs that are no longer required. So the people holding out for more money or whatever if it comes down to it there will just have to be redundancies simple as.... We have a whole shifts worth of TLs and above we do not need
All week on line 2What's been the overtime this week for lates?
YetIt’s not the case though is it
It’s purely intended to reduce the head count and primarily to reduce the wage bill, the £50k will be claimed back within a a few years depending on position.
The Team Leader or supervisor positions won’t go away it’s not intended for that at all.
Can’t believe people are moaning about how much, just don’t take it and stay, it’s an offer it’s certainly not compulsory.
What's the proposed remedy to fix the issue. Is it a minor adjustment or major work necessary?Just on twitter that Nissan are recalling half a million cars in America due to engine failure, it goes from bad to worse for this company…
