Leeds forum

f***ing Leeds....lol....hate the fuckers with a passion passed on from my dad who f***ing hates them almost as much as the Mags.

Never had a 40k seasonal crowd average, won the league twice, formed in 1919 ie 5 minutes ago, fans are a set of absolute ***** and renowned as some of the biggest football hooligans going and played something like 3 PL seasons in the last 21.

They really are a set of arrogant ***** and I wouldn't be surprised if they are second on the list to NUFC as the most hated club in England.

Fuck them and all who sail in them. I hope they go f***ing bust.

Every-time Leeds have had a decent team it hasn't been sustainable. Their most recent run in the prem's the best they've had for 20 odd years and it was very average. They're one of the most deluded fanbases out there it seems. No doubt their local media feeds their egos much like the NE press feed the mags.

They still owe something like £130m on the fuckers they bought last season and the season before - source an article in March when their last accounts came out. They've probably got very little to spend and wasted it all on trying to stay up last time and then worm their way back into the top flight.

This is why they will be offering £8m for £17m rated players ie they simply haven't got the money.

Williams says that Leeds have lost in total, £130m from 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24. Way more than the permitted £83m limit – and admits it is “difficult” to understand how Leeds have complied with rules.

“For the three-year PSR window from 21-22 to 23-24 Leeds have lost over £130m, which is well over the £83m limit. Even with add-backs and allowable expenses, it’s difficult to see how they’ve got over the line.

“Under PSR, academy costs, infrastructure investment, depreciation, spending on the women’s team and community investment are exempt from the PSR calculation. It’s hard to see how that adds up.

Out of curiosity, how many clubs have a bigger/more active forum than this one?
All of the others I've seen are absolutely shite.

Historically the only one that out stripped this one was Man Utd's "Red Cafe".

This one always came second in the "biggest online football message boards", which is why that spenks boast surprised me.

I was obviously shocked to my very core to find out he was just chatting shit and saying whatever he thought might get a rise.

Leeds are convincing themselves the players arent worth the fees we are paying despite it only being a couple million euro about their bids.

Completely been outgunned by us and it's killing them.
Not that I’m blowing our trumpet and saying we are a massive club etc. but we will genuinely be more well known to Africans than Leeds, particularly due to the Asamoah Gyan signing etc. we spent a decade in the PL when it was undisputedly the most watched league in the world. Leeds fans don’t seem to comprehend that anyone can turn them down for Sunderland. The last time they were an established PL side, Diarra, Rigg et Al., weren’t even alive.

Leeds also have more FFP issues than we do, due to legacy impacts of previous PL spell, we have ‘wiped the slate clean’, for what’s its worth I wouldn’t mind a cheeky bet on both us and Leeds surviving.

Depends on which Africans you mean as South Africans will know know Leeds through Lucas Radabe, also Tony Yeboah was a Legend at Leeds mainly because he scored worldies.

Stop sitting on the fence Harry. How do you really feel?

That was (sadly and worryingly) a long time ago, though. Most professional footballers won’t have seen those 2 play in the flesh even if they’ve heard all about them
