What's your thoughts on our latest signing?
I actually think all your signings and supposed targets are spot on. As I mentioned previously I think you have more headroom than us after having had 2 seasons in the Championship. Although we had a good squad last season we also had to sacrifice Rutter and Gray to stay within PSR limits and we now go up with fewer Prem quality players

Selling Bellingham’s for what you did was a great piece of business and by the start of the season you will have a new spine along with confidence that leads to momentum. Not a fan of RlB but I do think he has more about him that Farke

ATM Leeds seem to be going for big blokes with experience even though there are injury concerns around them. We’ve done well the last 2 windows and it looks like the Moneyball approach is the way we’re going. Not exciting and a little worrying if I’m being honest. I also think losing Kinnear to Everton has left a void and we are struggling to get deals ‘over the line’

Time will tell but fair play to you lot for coming about the blocks quickly and showing some ambition

To be fair there's no lot more shocked than us on this.

It's a huge gamble but it feels like there's a plan and we're buying the type of players we'd never normally look at.

I honestly thought Le Fee was the biggie and it'd be a summer chasing Rudoni and others with some bargains from abroad.

Next season will hopefully pan out and be more exciting than we imagined.

Leeds fans seem convinced that we've overpaid on the fee and are massively overpaying on wages, with very generous relegation clauses letting them go for nothing if we go down.

My understanding was that we have quite a firm wage structure, while I'm sure it's scaled up for the Premier League, I can't imagine we're going full Ellis Short on wages?

Everyone’s convinced online these days when in reality they know absolutely nothing and are clutching at straws

That’s includes me

It’s all perception currently and for me safc are giving the teams who are bottom half something to think about compared to the three who went up last season

As for Leeds I honestly could give a shiney one what their fans think or what they do, outside two games this coming season

Oh well, there we have it.
They’ve obviously been in negotiations with Speakman and know the entire structure of the deal

My boss is from Leeds and a lovely fella. He is also the exception to the rule.

People from there are obnoxious helmets with a chip on their shoulder.

Essentially if you are not born within a certain distance from the sea then you are generally a kernt.

I only know two Leeds fans, both from work.

One is from Blackpool with no connection to the city as far as I’m aware.

The other was a Sunderland season ticket holder believe it or not, albeit young, who jumped ship there via South Shields when we dropped down to league one.

Speaks volume

Is the second ones initials BW?

No way will we go back to the old ways.
Whatever we've paid and are paying in wages will all be carefully accounted for.In which world would we spend tens of millions on players then let them go for absolutely nothing if we went down

Just sour grapes from those tossers I suspect.

Ah so another Sunderland season ticket holder who jumped to Leeds then.

Still not as bad as the lad who travelled on our branch for almost a decade from 14 then decided to get a Newcastle season card.

I mean not much worse but still.
Crazy like, I wouldn’t dream of it tbf. If not Sunderland I’d just pack in football altogether

Maybe Leeds will be so frustrated at the last few days they will pounce and instantly outbid us on our next target?

I say we put a £20m bid in for Will Grigg and see what happens
