Aye it’s hilarious the mags are in for this sort of player whilst we are basically selling our best players and so far don’t seem to have had a sniff of fuck all. Lovely stuff![]()
Brighton who finished 8th while Chelsea finished 4th?Chelsea just buy all of Brightons players and then wonder why they aren’t any better than Brighton. Crazy.
4th is the same as 8thBrighton who finished 8th while Chelsea finished 4th?![]()
Michael Beale to the Mags.Losing their best kids to big clubs

A lad i work with this morning has just said Pedro has "ruined his career going there"My Mag mates are almost in tears. “It’s not fair”, “the cartel”, “the league’s a joke”, “we should be allowed to spend what we want”.

Did you ask why?A lad i work with this morning has just said Pedro has "ruined his career going there"![]()
He's not going to play apparently mate, nowhere near good enough. So i asked why he's so upset about missing out then? SilenceDid you ask why?
Both got a good deal in fairness. Newcastle got out of a PSR hole. Forest got a very good player. Thing is he wasn’t likely to play every week at Newcastle. Having done so at Forest he looks well worth what they paid.Money shuffling for psr reasons, mags show a £65m profit, forest show a £20m profit
In fairness looks like forest have had a cracking deal, effectively getting rid of a duff keeper and gaining Anderson![]()
Not sure anyones getting good deals overall with prices going thru the roof for all players. Both got a good deal in fairness. Newcastle got out of a PSR hole. Forest got a very good player. Also Newcastle got good money for the lad sold to Brighton. Of the two I think Forest got the better player.
They’re already at it, kept quiet until he fcked them off for a big club. Was hoping the mags would buy him if anything just because he got engaged to a 15 year old and it would somewhat shut the inevitable Adam Johnson crack up for a while.
Ticket prices are daft and will just continue to get worse. Not sure anyones getting good deals overall with prices going thru the roof for all players.
Hate the fact most clubs are having to spend to their absolute max and then pull accountancy black magic just to compete when these are the times.
clubs should be setting up for generations securing the future of teams lower in the pyramid, building amenities, lowering ticket prices and expanding operations massively into their communities but with ever increasing fees and wages inflated to the point of paying a kings ransom clubs are no better off than they were in previous times, and match going fans are forever seeing ticket price increases which will eventually price out a lot of fans
Yep no need for it at all especially in the prem, but as long as fees and wages keep spiralling its a race to just keep bumping prices.Ticket prices are daft and will just continue to get worse.
Just look at what they were charging for the group phases of the Club World Cup!
Had to slash some to get folk in which, if you have paid $200 in advance, is not fair.
Fuck knows what ticket prices for the actual WC are going to be like.
Atmospheres in most Premier League stadia have, for some time now, been poor at best. Is it a coincidence that, as ticket prices increase, the atmosphere gets worse?
Ordinary Match going fans are, at a lot of clubs, being systematically ‘phased out’. That will also just get worse. When the stadium is full at, for example, an average price of £100 a seat you can guarantee next season it will be £120, then £140. Average Joe can’t afford that….. oh dear, never mind. Tourist Tom will actually pay £200 to sit there. It will eventually hit a ceiling. Horse racing been taking their punters for granted, for years. They paying the price now with attendances plummeting, even at Cheltenham and The Derby.
