Who is getting relegated?

At the minute us Leeds Burnley. We need another 6/7 top quality signings to have a chance of staying up
This. The prospective signing of Diarra, and others linked suggest we’re going to have a go but we need to get in a lot more quality and get them to gel to give ourselves a chance.

I love the optimism and the playoffs were absolutely brilliant but the reality of our current situation is pretty clear. We finished 24 points behind the other two promoted sides. All three promoted sides have gone straight back down in the last two seasons, last time out without really laying a glove on the division.

I’m hugely encouraged by all the transfer speculation but until we get the signings in we’ll remain firm favourites for the drop.

Not arsed one bit about the 24 points gap. Means absolutely nowt really when we flung 2 months away. It was close until we fell away and then we just gave up.

Diarra and bulka are a great start but we need another 5 or 6 like this imo. Is there money there? I hope so.

Aye the points gap is misleading but we were still only the fourth best side in the league.

It’s going to be fascinating to see how the summer pans out.

Burnley have no chance of staying up and will finish rock bottom imo.

Other than the three that came up I’d say Brentford letting Andrew’s take over, Potter and West Ham and Wolves look well dodgy.

It will be out of
SAFC
Burnley
Leeds
Brentford
west ham
Wolves
Everton
imo all of the others are too strong - i only include brentford as they have lost the manager and it looks like Mbuemo
Everton will have enough to stay up. New stadium bounce and Moyes at helm. He's just a good fit there. West Ham won't go down too. They still have players like Bowen and Kudus who will drag them to safety.

The rest I totally agree with. Burnley, Wolves and one of the rest to go down.

As has been shown in previous seasons, being able to beat the most championship cloggers is not a barometer of PL competency. We have young players who are improving, six months practice of playing a defending / counter attacking style and a coach who isn't going to be stupid enough to think we can play teams off the park.

Remember when we came up from L1 and went from being loads of points behind Wigan and Rotherham, end ingup being miles better than them both. The year before counts for bugger all, other than us. Burnley and Leeds went up.

Everton have a lot of players leaving on frees - a lot of squad places to fill

Think its way too early to judge. 1st July is when the bulk of clubs outside of either the scab 6 who PSR doesn't affect & the promoted sides can start spending money / strengthening their squads.

Forest went from battling relegation to fighting it out for Champions League after a summer of decent business.

I just hope its a more entertaining league than last season which was absolutely boring at both the top and bottom end.

I do think 2 of the new sides will go back down with one of Brentford, Bournemouth or Wolves dropping. If all 3 drop back down then there does need to be consideration over PSR and if the promoted sides could be given more help as the PL is in danger of becoming a closed shop super league (if it isn't already).

This time last year I was worried about the drop but have no concerns this season, first summer in a good few years that we have money to spend without having to sell one of our better players. Moyes also just fits us, seen a statistic that had he started the season managing us we would have finished the season just gone around 9th-10th.

Throw in 9 teams in Europe, clubs like Forest & Palace may struggle fighting on 2 fronts and may slide.

Potter is an average manager but WHU have some good players so doubt they'll be in any major trouble.
