Craft Beer

We started in Lady Greys, then on the metro to Monkseaton, which was my favourite bar of the 3 in the stations, then on to Whitley Bay, then Tynemouth, there's also an Italian in Tynemouth station, food was canny. Weather was grim the day we did it so we went to North Shields,craft beer place called Enigma Tap was only a few minutes from the station and canny enough but North Shields is a shit hole.

Metros were iffy that day as well so rather than wait 25 minutes in North Shields we went back to Tynemouth for a pint as there was a metro in a few minutes heading back that way. Then back to Lady Greys for one more before the bus home.

Time of day and weather would determine where we go next time I think, as Tynemouth is canny for a pint but we didn't leave the station due it pissing down. We're doing Ouseburn on the 12th but if the weather is shit I'd happily do the stations again.

Is my ranking of the 3, I'd be surprised if you were different.

Finally, we got to Tynemouth 6ish and got a table in the Italian no bother, but by 6.30/7.00 it was rammed, so we may book next time,just to be sure.

Your station bar ratings are correct.

Whitley Bay a decent way behind the other two as well.

Crafty Cold Well and Crafty Wilson micro pubs both on same street near Left Luggage Monkseaton St if you want do more just the actual station pubs.

Didnt realise that. I had it in my head they opened at 2pm. Both canny though.

Yep, LL is a cracking place. I've been through Tynemouth so had a couple in Platform 2. Lovely Vault City sour on. 8%. Nice in this weather.

Swerved a bit and went to a hazy days bottle shop at Spanish city. Class. Some really exclusive cans. Emperor, azvex amongst others. Had a soft scoop azvex. f***ing lush
 
Beer choices in the Keel Tavern have been very uninspiring the last few times I’ve been in. Is it always like that or have I just dropped unlucky?
