Worth a bump, the Swiss Womens football team took on a boys under 15 team from a random nearby club and lost 7-1

Every female in the media thats argued for equal pay should be made to explain what in the world happened there. The worrying thing is 99% will say they still deserve equal pay.

Skill has nowt to do with remuneration. It's the revenue you generate. Mark Rylance earns less than Margot Robbie. Judi Dench earns less than The Rock.

It's obviously more complicated with lasses football. On the one hand parts of the game are subsidised by the mens game. Equally the FA couldn't sell Harry Kane's image to a crisp company without paying him mega bucks.

Think they argued that the revenue they brought in meant it should be equal pay, not sure any other female team club or nation could argue similar tho

Girl teams should be forced to play with a bloke in goal. Ruins their games imo the piss simple goals that go in. They literally save nothing.

If they don't do that they should make the goals smaller. Men goalies are way over 6ft, theirs are like 5 ft 8 or whatever. It's just common sense the goals should be smaller

True, they won multiple world cups and generated interest in America, while the men still struggle to achieve anything other than qualifying for the odd World Cup

That's where it becomes complicated. The lasses who were the boots on the ground, who generated the interest will have earned next to nowt yet they became a retirement home for millionaire men to see out their days. That's not right.

The keepers can barely reach the half way like from goal kicks aswell.

Yes they can
I don’t watch the lasses game but i remember watching a prem game last season and when it finished it switched to the lasses game on a Sunday night was Man Utd ladies i think. The keepers could barely reach the half way line having a goal kick was a disadvantage as it ended with the ball more or less been back in play inside own half. As Crook Mackem
Said the goals are far to big aseell, Would be much better playing on smaller pitches with smaller goals

I watch loads of women's footie, and the halfway line is easily reached by the keepers. A lot of the teams try and play it out most of the time, but when needed they can belt it a long way. I think you are telling porkies ,for whatever reason

Blokes (some) always feel threatened about women talking about football.

Laughable at times how much they argue about their existence and a woman's opinion. I like to listen. Agree or disagree - gender is not the issue on football opinion.

It really doesn't bother me.

Considering this thread is titled "Alan Brazil talksport", and hadn't had much activity for a while, I must admit I was fearing the worst for the awld fella when I headed for the latest post.

No, my mistake.....just grown men arguing about women's football.
The exact same confusing situation has just befallen me, too.

I'm all for women's professional football but do think the goal size debate has some merit like.
