Sheff Wed - financial issues

Fit and proper person's test :lol:

Don’t get me on that.
We have a “match day guest” Zavier Austin a convicted money launderer. Never thought Match Day guests would have a permanent office in the main stand and Adam Hart a convicted drugs dealer as a fitness and conditioning coach, now involved in player transfers.
Look up their form.
Fit and Proper Test banned Austin becoming a General Manager but it’s not fit for purpose.

A fella on twitter reckons if they'd been named Sheffield Saturday they'd have been more successful historically and be more attractive to potential investors.

Sounds like something from Breaking Bad

They're a pretty similar proposition to us in L1, in that they have a cracking fanbase and are available for much cheaper than you'd ordinarily get a club of that size. The problem is their ground is ancient and they don't have the facilities/training ground that we have.

They aren't though. Chansiri is asking well above their market value and are generally financially goosed as it is through a variety of factors.

Terrible owner, took over 10 years ago and still paying the price now. Never sell any players at a profit, no improvement in the training ground or the stadium.
Sold the stadium to himself to avoid penalties and ended up registering it in the wrong tax year.
Turned down two bids from an American Consortium worth 55 and 65 million as he wants 125 million to break even on what he's spent on Wednesday and what he owes on other businesses.

After a long silence a statement from the chairman. In a nutshell he's turned down two bids from a consortium but will agree to talk to them if they give him a £5 million deposit up front.

They really are doomed.

The bloke is a absolute fruit loop.

It's not all bad, at least we haven't been picked to play one of the relegated premier League teams away first game of the seas...........oh shit.

If you think Leicester away is an insurmountable team to play you might as well stop supporting them full stop.

Very sad to see what's gaarn on down there. They'll be going down this coming season as apparently all their players can fuck off for free if not paid in the next week or sommaat like that.

@Rocky77 was saying earlier on WhatsApp he got 80/1 for them to go down with less than 16 points.
New incoming money mate
