Boro thread

Have I told you about the time I was thrown out of the Club Bongo International ?
Club Bongo is probably the most dodgiest club I’ve ever set foot in.
Hookers, drug dealers and gangsters.
Absolutely mental place.

What did you do to get hoyed out?

Never stepped foot in it in my life. Middlesbrough is a f***ing horrendous night out these days I do everything in my power to avoid it where possible. Rough as arseholes and dickheads at every turn.
Its horrendous full stop.

Went to a door place a few months ago to get a quote and shown the samples etc and called in greggs on the way back to the motorway for a coffee. Within 30 seconds a lad in a balaclava had cleared two bags full and walked out.

Awful

Doesn’t surprise me. The type of place where walking between bars makes you grateful just to get to the next one.

Soft Mackem b*stard ;)
Take the rough with the smooth anywhere I go mate, but Middlesbrough has steadily declined into an awful place on a night over the years. The amount of bother on nights out and people carrying knives is insane. It’s just got an edge to it all the time. Much rather drink in Stockton, Yarm (and that’s still chewy) or even Darlington on a night.

Yeah, was taking the piss in fairness. Baker Street is probably your best bet if you want to avoid the chew, especially the Twisted Lip. It's expensive but think they keep the prices up to keep out the riff raff, and you get good craic in there as you get your regulars who go in.

Yeah baker street and that area is good, the twisted lip is class. It’s sound during the day for the orange pip market, and the town hall is still a brilliant music venue but yeah just the way it’s gone downhill is a shame. Just puts you off going for a drink on a night with all the stories you see.

Funny that the berra are cow convincing themselves that it’s now a great appointment.
Think a lot are encouraged by the appointment of Adi Viveash as his assistant. Was held in high regard at Coventry.

Will be nice to have a good Knowledgeable football assistant supporting the manager, on the back of Woodgate.

He was the brains apparently for Robins at Coventry. When he left, that's when it started going tits up for him at Cov. Highly thought of apparently is Viveash.
