He’s an absolute sad case isn’t he. Thinks he’s above other fans who have different / other priorities as well. I go home and away but understand some people are more committed than others, are more likely to want to come if we’re doing well than not. He obviously has nothing else worth worrying about in his life than football.

That is not too bad for the FA Cup final. The allocation around 10 years ago used be around 25k each iirc, which is obviously hopeless for most clubs who are likely to make the final.

I think priority should be given to those who have continuously had a season ticket the longest. Yes it's the ability to pay but it also shows commitment because that's not where you have to spend your money is it.
In terms of priority for say Cup final tickets etc. should someone who has had a SC for two seasons have the same right as a person with 20 or 30 years? I don't think so. That would be my 'tie breaker'.

Yeah that would do it, given the seemingly "generous" ticket allocation for the fa cup final these days. Probably something we won't need to worry about, at least this season coming.

Needs to be more than £10.

But i do agree a fee should be included. It will cut all the people who are just joining the queue because 'it's free to join'.

I'd honestly say £30 is the middle ground. Shows your serious. But I'd prefer it to be £50 as the club is aiming to be self sufficient.

People are going on as if charging a fee is going to be some sort of money spinner ("milking" the fans).

Only guessing, but I'd be surprised if it reached 1,000 if it is set at £30. Sub £30K is not buying our next striker.

Its no money spinner. Nor is it milking the fans. I've got to be fair to the club, they've kept prices at a reasonable level for a long time now.

But 30k pays for the clart on in the ticket office/ set up etc.

If we want to progress in the Premier League, people now need to start paying a decent amount for season tickets and all that comes with it.

Okay then, £30 won't make the difference between profit and loss on the 2025-2026 balance sheet.

My post was aimed at those that have posted earlier in the thread arguing against a fee on the grounds that to do so was profiteering etc. I was pointing out that the likely revenue sums involved were not substantial.

If you took that attitude across the whole business you’d suffer greatly. We’re back in the most watched league in the world. There is a price associated with that.
