Eng vs India - First Test - 20th-24th June

Couldn't have really asked for a better day for England. Wrapped them up relatively cheaply from their overnight score and then batted superbly to make severe inroads into their total.

Would have liked Root there at the end but hey ho. Still plenty of batting left. Hopefully Brook knuckles down tomorrow and plays a substantial innings.

Hope Bumrah steps on a plug or something.

Been a class couple of days cricket. Long may it continue.

Fair I don't think his actual character is that of a prick. But that shot was that of a twat, a prick,a sod whatever you want to call it.

Mad your this precious about a throw away comment about a bloke on tele. Yet your happy to have a go at me. I'm thick skinned so couldn't give a fuck. You know Harry Brook isn't going to read my comment.

It was a half tracker, there to pull and it was poorly executed. In terms of a terrible shot Root’s was worse and could only have led to a dismissal. Anyway my apologies.
 
Weather looks to be similar tomorrow and for the next days

If England can get up to or a lead , I fancy us strongly if the cloud comes over like they had for two hours

It’s going to be fun and Durham in action as well

Aye Root shot was also bad he gets out that way a lot as I commented.

But Brook has shown thats a big weakness for him to get out that way to the short ball, even though he can hit them for boundaries.

It's very much a risky shot for him especially 3 balls from the end of the days play. He doesn't need to play it hence the frustration.

It's all good and I'm glad he's still there and makes Bumrah regret overstepping(3 times!!!) tomorrow
 
Lads. I’m on a warning again so if I miss the rest of the summer , I really think it will be a great one
