Keel Crossing [opened 18.10.25] - compendium thread

That's perfect thanks, just what I wanted - I wanted to see where it would come out and what it was next to. Do you know if there are plans to do much with those office looking buildings on the RHS, out the front of the Sheepfolds?
If you are talking about The Edward Thompson building then originally it was to be converted to flats but appararently investigations have shown that its too far gone for economic conversion so it will be demolished and new housing put in. Well, that's the last I saw.

Not being greedy but, was there not talk of another LOW level bridge in the sunderland future master plan?

And this from last year...

Yeah the long term plan for that area is to bring the lower level around the river into leisure use, with a bridge down at that level making both sides more accessible. Whether it happens might depend on the success of this first phase with all the residential buildings going up.

Was at Propa earlier today and took this photo. Looks nearly done

Anyone know if they are pulling down the building near it that looks like a complete eyesore with all the other stuff being develope ld around. The club have stuck a huge we are back banner on the side but it would be a shame if the building is staying

Aye its all going

They might but whilst its the most popular choice out of the options chosen by the council..they didnt provide us with a list of all the suggestions put forward from the public so we dont know if it was a fair choice overall...these things are fluid and i just think the sol will be used somewhere in the description when most use it in the language of the future.....
The Council picked the name. Gave the public three to pick from. Aye their three choices which included the one they wanted and one they said had the most votes. Aye OK Council.

You are thinking of edward thompson building which was planned to be refurbed but seems has now been deemed impossiboe to do so due to its condition and asbestos so full demo is planned
Was wondering what was happening to that building. A while ago a security bloke said they were going to add another floor and turn it into a hotel.
