Northumberland Rocks

Thanks much appreciatedNot massively different from what I've posted previously but does give an idea of how far on they are with linking the bridge to the Stadium.

Sheepfold Stables? What are those big brick sheds on the north side on the left just as the bridge meets the land?
Are they for the chop? Bit of an eyesore but of course no need to panic as it appears there’s a lot going on beyond both sides of the bridge to landscape it etc.
I tell ya what - we might decry the death of shipbuilding on the Wear but you can’t deny the whole place looks a lot prettier without the heavy industry, and looking to be beautified even further. WDSC!
What time in the video are they shown?Nah dark brick buildings
And it's on the right, got me lost wondering where he meansThe only dark brick building on sheepfolds is the Edward Thompson Building but that's not near where the Bridge Lands![]()

It is as it's just in shadowsAbout 26 to 36 seconds in.
Maybe that is the sheepfolds stables but the buildings look a lot darker in the video than in the still shot posted above.
I'll still use the Town Bridge - hopefully all of the dawdlers, shufflers chatting away 4 abreast, and slowcoaches will use the footbridge and I will get back to the Burton House quicker after the match.![]()
Is there not a rope pulled river ferry crossing you’d rather use?
Being set in your ways and all that.
TBF if your heading to the Burton or Yatesys/Jamesons you might as well just use the Wearmouth BridgeIs there not a rope pulled river ferry crossing you’d rather use?

End of August , may not make our first game but hoping to be done for the rugby world cup gameDoes anyone know when it’s actually opening?
Presumably before our first home game?
Are there any videos of what it looks like coming across the bridge? What's the view of the ground like? What time in the video are they shown?

This is from last year but obviously the bridge has changed a lot since then. I could do another one and fly a bit lower down but I don't think I'm brave enough to fly it at the height that would replicate exactly what it would be like walking over the bridge. Are there any videos of what it looks like coming across the bridge? What's the view of the ground like?
That video is nice but really frustrating because it never quite shows that view and cuts off to show me piles of metal around the sheepfolds instead.

That's perfect thanks, just what I wanted - I wanted to see where it would come out and what it was next to. Do you know if there are plans to do much with those office looking buildings on the RHS, out the front of the Sheepfolds? This is from last year but obviously the bridge has changed a lot since then.
