Yorkshire v Durham T20 Blast. Sunday 15th June

What’s going on?!

Our bowling attack is formidable, it may well be the best in the competition with the variety we have.

Batting lacks explosiveness though, think ultimately it’ll be our downfall.
It`s no wonder Durham and Yorkshire fans do not get on.

That’s not my experience like.

So the cap fits?

i agree with batting and bowling comments
However I. do think Yorkies are insular self indulgent knackers by and large and are very Magesque in attitude

Which is ironic considering their rare periods of recent success have had significant input from abroad (Gibson, Gillespie, Lehmann). When they go with their own they're absolutely shite.

Reap what you sow I suppose.

Yep even if we get through will come a cropper against a southern group side.

Perfect game for Lees today to bat at his usual tempo.

We'd have struggled if they had got above 150 IMO

I think Neesham has potential to get a 50 off 20 balls somewhere down the line

Is he available for all the t20?

I was thinking the other day, we may have a good chance of going far in the One Day Cup this year because our batting is more suited to that than T20.

*Aslong as the England commitments and that other thing don’t harm us too much

It is all ticket and a sell out, even YCC members need to get a ticket to get in. YCC members without a ticket or anyone without a ticket will not get in. It should have been played at Scarborough, then twice as many wiuld have been able to watch the game.
It only sold out this week and given the ridiculous robbing prices Scarborough Cricket club are charging for the one day cup fixture we have in August I for one am bloody glad they didn’t get their mitts on this one as well. I had a really good day for not much more than half the price I would have to pay at Scarborough.

Easier to get to. Cheaper tickets. A good win. Nicer place to go for beers after. What’s not to like?
Outside leg umpires call there
Pedantically speaking, if there were DRS today, umpires call doesn’t apply to where it pitches. That’s a yes/no. It only applies to the point of impact and whether it was hitting the stumps.

True enough. It was very tight and the umpire favoured the home team at the time

A Yorkshire fan here. No need for comments like that, It`s no wonder Durham and Yorkshire fans do not get on. We are rubbish, you were miles better and deserved to win, well played, so no need for comments like that.
If the majority of you had taken your punishment and accepted your wrongdoing, then I would agree. But you didn’t. You acted hard done by when your punishment amounted to a points deduction in a competition you were already out of, a suspension from holding test cricket for one English winter, and a pretty trivial fine. You then enthusiastically welcomed back some significant figures from the period when the offence was committed into your management. And you are still in denial about it. So it is extra special to beat you when so many of your fan base are demonstrably racist.

Gutted to see McKinney got pinched by the Werther's originals

Carse,Clark and Potts have been nicked by Marcus North for his other job at KFC Superchargers Mayo

Then Sowter still with the Ovaltines

I'd like to think we get the following lineup which is a very strong batting lineup. Bowling isn't as strong however.

Lees
Gay
Ackermann
Bedingham
Robinson
Rhodes
De Leede
Raine
Drissell
Minto
Parkinson

Decent team that. They may add another overseas on a short term deal ?

Aye well we have Wagner but not sure if we'd use him for this or not. I'd also us rather use one of our homegrown lads than a 39 year old.

Being harsh I'd like an overseas spinner.

Can’t see how that benefits McKinney’s career at all mind.

As for the lineup, surely Robinson will be away with the pop and crisp lot?
