Yorkshire v Durham T20 Blast. Sunday 15th June

I guess we might as well have match threads with the general thread now closed.

We're on a roll with 2 on the bounce. Let's hope we make it three tomorrow.

2.30pm.start.
Well lets hope so...winning consistantly is the problem for Durham though imo. You get the impression that they are on a roll then next game put in a poor performance and lose.....dunno if its a mental problem / complacency or what but if Durham are gonna win anything they need to fix it. I cant remember when Durham last went on a winning streak like Northants did prior to yesterdays game. Hopefully Neesham is now injecting that top level experience / attitude into the dressing room.

Yes but perhaps membership doesn't incude T20 matches. Capacity probably sub-5000.

Bit like Durham, everything included. Described as an 'all-in' membership.

'Access to all Yorkshire CCC Men's fixtures at Headingley, Scarborough and York, and all Yorkshire CCC Women's fixtures at Headingley'

This is specific to tomorrow.......

'Yorkshire members who are eligible to attend will be able to gain access using their membership cards'.

Make their money from the Corporates then-which is probably what the marquees are for

They are advertising it as a 4,500 sell-out
In theory, some members may not get in.
Bas De Leede possibly involved

How has he been doing over the close season ?
I saw (and heard) him at Darlington this week for the seconds in a t20. Only saw the second game. He was tidy with the ball, unremarkable with the bat. His swearing was first class.

Anyone driving down, park at Rawcliffe Bar P&R and walk, takes about 30 mins to ground and parking free. I think the P&R is making an extra stop near ground for this fixture as well.

I think YCCC has about 9,000 members. They are all eligible to get into the match by showing their card. Not sure how many the York ground holds. Maybe sub-5000?
It is all ticket and a sell out, even YCC members need to get a ticket to get in. YCC members without a ticket or anyone without a ticket will not get in. It should have been played at Scarborough, then twice as many wiuld have been able to watch the game.

It'll be the same scenario as the 92/93 seasons at Durham when Hartlepool (capacity 2500) hosted a couple of Sunday League games and the members (6500 at the time) had to apply for tickets to attend - a lot of them didn't get the message (passenger pigeon at the time) and just turned up only to be turned away at the gate.

it seems to have narked the Yorkshire fans too. Apparently it was an ECB thing not allowing them to play at Headingley in the run up to the Test match. Fans reckon they should have had an away game scheduled for today or for the game to happen at Scarborough which has a capacity of 9,000 as you say. Then some argue that folk wouldn't travel to Scarborough for a t20.
