And that’s where you’re wrong. I’ve never said I want a new stand. I’ve only ever said the most obvious and sensible thing to do to increase new large hospitality areas and more exec boxes is to build a tier.

Someone corrected me the other day when I said stand. I wasn’t doing the same. Tier, stand whatever it means the same thing. An extension. I’ve never said I want it, so you’re wrong. I’ve always said it was the way to do it to achieve those goals.

It’s the way that you prefer, doesn’t mean it’s the best idea for the club right now.

Yes removing the front of the premier concourse, reducing capacity, moving the place where the directors sit, displacing season ticket holders and then the sheer amount of infrastructure, engineering work involved and the costs isn’t just a daft idea it’s an incredibly stupid idea.

You just haven’t thought about the extra stairs, lifts, corridors, toilets etc that would be required to do something like that. That’s before you start cutting into the PC.

There’s also the directors hospitality right behind the front of the concourse. It wouldn’t be feasible to do.

At least somebody gets it. You only have to look at how every other club operates to see the way to go as well. Expand when the demand is there, it's that simple
