SoL To Undergo Multi-Million-Pound Investment Programme

We are already averaging over 40K with Championship football and that's including pretty bad recent form. I think 50K+ would be easily achievable with regular top-half finishes, especially if you consider additional away fans and corporates in that figure (which you would).

In the PL but getting humped most weeks, and the SoL is big enough.
Considering we have 40k average this season, we will comfortably sell out next season imo. Premier league brings an extra few thousand at least touristy fans every game. That’s without all the fans who haven’t been consistent while we have been to hell and back. Give us a regular premier league team again and I don’t think an expansion in 3-4 seasons would be out of the question. Long way to go, the biggest hurdle is staying up next season!

East stand concourse should be a fairly simple extension. The wall isn't structural and you could just bring the sheet metal straight down instead of having it tuck back in. I wouldn't even move the bars inside as it could be possible to make them double sided with the extra space created. The main issue will be that you will lose massive amounts of space outside for queuing which would likely upset the council as fans would be stood on the car park.
There would be enough room in the current east stand concourse.
Make it 2 tier. Loads of room above catering boxes etc

Think I’m right in saying Premier League you need to give a minimum of 3,000 tickets. Only 4/5 sold their full 2,000 allocation this year. You’d think 14/15 of the team would sell out 3,000 easy enough. That’ll be a natural 1,000-2,500 on most gates.

Home support might depend on results though. Doing a Southampton wouldn’t encourage people to keep buying on a game by game basis.

The external brickwork isn’t supporting

The stadium is steel framed with add ons

I watched it being built

Simply move the wall out or like Wembley build externally and link extension in with stadium structure
Exactly. Move the brick walls out double the depth where they are (kind of where the outer metalwork is vertical before it angles down). The supporting steel obviously stays where they are. It’s a relatively easy thing to do.

couldn’t do it in the north or west, but east and south would be a no brainer

the cheaper alternative is to put up a perimeter wall where you have the turnstiles and just have an area between that and open the exit gates in the stadium for easy flow inside and out. Solves the smoking problem as well

popped up on my recommended, it’s been a bit dodgy imo probably just teething problems but alot better than the old system

Probably not. If they are going to refurb and extend/redevelopment it would make sense. I would change it to black as well. Someone posted a pic of the sol when it opened and it was just tarmac. Looked much smarter

Look better if it was fake grass imo and just blend it in with the pitch like Tottenham.

Definitely not black though, there's certain colours which don't belong in the stadium for obvious reasons.

Tell that to the premier concourse toilets then. They have black and white tiles on the walls
