I think it could go either way. He'd demand more from everyone and likely improve their chances of signing certain players due to his reputation. I don't think he's a great manager and can't imagine he'll come cheap for Gibson which may be an issue.

He's just a more proven Carrick.

If he truly backed himself as a manager he wouldn't have gone to Saudi.

Yeah they might spend a few quid but they will do nothing. It's magesque the way they go for big names than what they actually need.

Yeah not keen on Gerrard, but then I had wrote Lampard off before he got the Coventry job.

I would imagine Gerrard has applied and we have gave him an interview (the rumour is we are doing interviews this week, Gerrard's apparently was today - forum ITKs 🤷🏼‍♂️)
