My favourite post so far

Sunlun already had their pants pulled down over Fee for £20m. £4m of this initial £27 Bellingham fee will go to Brum so they are down to £3m difference already All the clubs know Sunlun now have money but their hierarchy unfamiliar at recent dealing at this level so they will be held to ransom on any talent they identify . I'm looking fwd to seeing some huge money shelled out by them for average talent. Plus any agent will not want their man signing any relegation big wage drop clauses so discussions will take longer than usual, this summer going to be very interesting seeing who they think they can attract.

Mind they're consistent at least, couple months back on reddit few of their fans were discussing how not going up isn't all that bad because they'll be getting 50-60m for Hackney and that Van De Berg or whatever he's called so they can buy their way back up 🫣

I would imagine it will be very interesting watching Boro scrape the barrel for their signings too.

No matter how they dress it up, us being promoted to the PL before them after 4 years in league one and all the off field stuff just highlights the massive failings there. It’s put Gibson under more pressure instantly. The end of the season none of them were concerned because they were all very confident Sheffield United were going to piss the playoffs. I genuinely think it’s really pissed loads of them off :lol: :lol:

They’ll struggle to beat our fee for him even if they do good luck trying to reinvest that in their position
The championship looks crowded field next year more than ever they’ve got bigger things to worry about than our jobe fee

Just had a look at the Jobe thread, they really seem to hate us and the fact we’ve been promoted appears to have broken them. What a shame.
 
I like this one from our smoggie friends. It goes from saying he wasn't a game changing player in a promoted team to saying we are in trouble losing our best players:

"As posted above this one is definitely a gamble on the genes, not contribution at Sunderland where he was decent for the championship but not a game changing player.

Big blow for the Mackems though, losing best players after being promoted to the premier league is not a good sign.

I mean I really really hope it works out for them and it doesn’t all end in tears…."
