Gelhardt wasn’t “shite”.

He was part of a good 4 up top. They linked up well. Clarke, Roberts, Diallo and Gelhardt.

Don’t necessarily disagree with the rest mind, but pulling you up in that one ;)

We’ve seen some sh*te down the years, Gelhardt no where near those

Gelhardt was played as a central striker in a team aiming and getting into the play offs. In that respect he was 'shite' and he's not played the role at any length since and deemed not good enough at Leeds. We were largely carried at that period by Amad and a bit of Amad / Roberts interplay, of course with Clarke on the left.

He was no better here, statistically worse, than Prichard playing up front in the same period and both were painful to watch.

He's probably a low to mid championship level attaching midfielder/wide player.

We’ll have to disagree

Played with his back to goal on the half way line fighting centre backs. His bottom generally fell out in front of goal. Didn't really help us progress up the pitch or effect the game in the final third. Likeable, hardworking, but ultimately shit.

He was well though of at Leeds and played handful of games the following season and then was frozen out (without scoring in the league). Now he's at Hull seemingly playing wide.

Just saw this come up on my discover feed. It’s total bollocks surely

Spotted this rather unfortunate image too

The numbers seem right don't they. Shows we don't pay huge amounts with the exception of Le Fee. Mepham must be on a decent wage but are many others? Doubt it.
That's what I was thinking, nothing unusual
Aye if you calculate that into games actually played looks massive, but was another punt which so far hasn't come off.
He will probably expect a pay rise when we go up anarl Craigsy.

Wonder what the crack is with this fella now.

Full training after rehab?

Back to take away ket?

Will he be loaned out?

Paid up and told to fook off?

shame

Maybe Regi thinks he can do something with him still.

Bloody hell, what more of an incentive does he want, in a prem league squad for next season.
He should be getting himself super fit before the rest of the squad start pre season, slim down, and get his attitude right. And compete.

Some people just don’t have that attitude, no matter how much they’re paid or what help they’re given. It’s happened for years in footy.
