As far as i'm aware the yanks usage is " if i could could care less, i would".‘Could care less’ is a phrase that seems to be popping up in what I’m reading atm.
Americans who use it obviously mean ‘couldn’t care less’ but for some reason the logic eludes them.
It’s a minor annoyance.

I regularly see stuff posted for sale on ebay with an asking price far in excess of what you would pay for it directly from the maker.Folk clogging up the Facebook Marketplace categories with shite that'll never shift cos they're asking too much.

In Scotland they say this thing. I'll meet you at the back of five. It drives me batty, so what does it actually mean 5 past 5? Half past 5? 5.55?Norwegians tell the time differently. Half means half way to the next hour.
Eg: Half eight is half past seven to us.
Or two hours at this time of year.Well they are an hour ahead
Anytime between 5 and happast. In Scotland they say this thing. I'll meet you at the back of five. It drives me batty, so what does it actually mean 5 past 5? Half past 5? 5.55?

Doesn't annoy me, but I stay in the west end.Scottish people say “I stay out by the airport” instead of “I live out by the airport”
It’s a very very minor annoyance.
