How did Sunderland win the Play-Offs

Kept powder dry and players fit. I thought it was obvious he was doing that but many didn't, including you, i must say. Your video before the play offs was only one I disregarded. It was clear to me he was refreshing and rotating. Anyway, great stuff as nearly always.
They did do all the things I asked for in that vid though. And I maintained they were good enough to win, but yes, my sentence there is my confession for me panicking, when he never did. That's why I make videos and he wins promotions.

Right then. Here it is. Too young, too naive, lacking experience they all said. Well the pundits were wrong.

They were also wrong about Sheffield United dominating the game. The first 20 minutes Sunderland were under the cosh, but slowly through a series of small tactical changes Sunderland grew into the game and ended up dominating possession and having almost as many shots and chances as the Blades. So what did the pundits miss and just how did Regis Le Bris turn the youngest team in the Football League into Championship Play-Off winners.

Well come in and take a look and do me a favour; stay 'til the end'. There's a treat to finish with. Enjoy everyone.

Class that mate - you pee all over the analysis on match of the day

Outstanding work marra.

I keep thinking I'm over it. Then this gets posted and I get sucked back in.

Our team and RLB have done us proud this season. It still hasn't fully sunk in we did it.

Really interesting to see how Roberts was deployed more centrally. I knew he had came inside for the goal but I hadn't picked up watching it back, nor has any pundit that I've heard, that it was deliberate and the reasons why. Absolutely brilliant analysis this.

I know we were making the running and had most of the ball, but up until the point we actually scored it did really feel like Sheffield United had us under control and still looked much more likely to score on the break, whereas we were looking bereft of ideas with little idea how to get through them and some very poor passing.

At least that's how it felt to me in the stadium, and everyone around was saying something similar.

When the goal came though it was absolute magic and we were completely dominant thereafter.

There was only going to be one winner when we equalised. They were a spent force

Nailed it about RLB and flexibility too.

We started the season with the high press. We have won ugly. Played with a low block. 2 up front. 1 up front. 3 up front. And still managed to keep his powder dry to spring a surprise on Lampard in the semi final.

Tactically I think it will help us next season.
