How did Sunderland win the Play-Offs

Yes, I almost certainly won't be able to do it in the same way. The EPL are ace at totally blitzing anyone who shows the smallest amount. I'll try to find a way round things but we'll have to see. Not sure quite what my stuff will look like, but I'll be doing something.

I mean this would be the easiest solution to keep things going to some degree.

Yes, finally finished script and voiced it. Currently editing the images together. Will be out this week. For definite.
The club is missing a trick here tbh... You would only be a massive asset to them.

I’ve seen people do similar stuff with stills, but it’s obviously not has easy to detail moves still to still

Just signed up - £2 is nothing for the quality of content - looking forward to next seasons insights

Put it behind the patreon pay wall is probably yor only option - not that I know what I'm talking about

That's the first time I have heard that. You have tempted me to take another look at the incident, probably for the umpteenth time.
Watch the full match back

Yes the striker touched it with his hand as he bundled past Cirkin, which is an instant foul as the goalscorer, regardless of intent etc.

Doesn’t mean Cirkin didn’t fuck up or Patto didn’t make a class save though

Just watched it - in slow mo etc. From the camera behind the goal it looks like the ball brushed his arm - there again, was Cirkin's arm was entwined with his ?
I can certainly see why var would have looked at it - but, as in other var instances, I am nowhere near guessing at what their decision would have been. Would it have been influenced by them having a goal chalked off in the first-half ?
Anyhow, good spot.

Whatever i’me glad it didn’t come to that imagine the outcry we would have had if they had 2 ruled out by var, even with them being the correct decision.

I saw it about 5 mins later when during the ball being out of play they showed a slow motion replay and he sort of fists it forward. May not have been on purpose but would have still been chalked off IMO.

Have to give this a bump for the weekend that it is, @10 Trenches Deep.

This time only 1 year ago we were going into the Championship playoff final as underdogs against Sheffield United.

On Sunday, exactly 1 year to the day of the playoff final, we will be hosting Chelsea knowing a win would likely secure European football.

Worth a watch as 1) it's absolutely superb and deserves to be watched again and 2) as a reminder of how far we've come, in such a short period of time.

Right then. Here it is. Too young, too naive, lacking experience they all said. Well the pundits were wrong.

They were also wrong about Sheffield United dominating the game. The first 20 minutes Sunderland were under the cosh, but slowly through a series of small tactical changes Sunderland grew into the game and ended up dominating possession and having almost as many shots and chances as the Blades. So what did the pundits miss and just how did Regis Le Bris turn the youngest team in the Football League into Championship Play-Off winners.

Well come in and take a look and do me a favour; stay 'til the end'. There's a treat to finish with. Enjoy everyone.
