I'd guess at corporate, more expensive tickets and people in and around the stadium spending more on merchandise and food and drink at the bars. Why is our matchday revenue smaller than clubs with smaller grounds than ourselves? It’s only 5 million more than Bournemouth whose stadium is tiny?
Cheap tickets and poor corporate options?
Does it include televised games income? Why is our matchday revenue smaller than clubs with smaller grounds than ourselves? It’s only 5 million more than Bournemouth whose stadium is tiny?

Average season ticket around £450-£500 is cheap for premier league, most renewals were at championship prices so that could be part of the reason. Why is our matchday revenue smaller than clubs with smaller grounds than ourselves? It’s only 5 million more than Bournemouth whose stadium is tiny?

So without selling any players, how much could we spend without impacting on PSR?
Won't matter because the club won't be interested in being near the limit I'm guessing. So without selling any players, how much could we spend without impacting on PSR?
This. Let's be honest, even though we are getting big money for the PL, our wage bill now will have jumped up with clauses, never mind once the renewals kick in.A lot less that our excited fans think. We will be nowhere near the limit. Historically we haven’t pushed the boat out.
Over 100 million. Possibly 150 (I don’t believe we’ll get anywhere near that fwiw)So without selling any players, how much could we spend without impacting on PSR?
Depends if the limit is around £60m as we'd need to spend more than that to be competitiveWon't matter because the club won't be interested in being near the limit I'm guessing.

Signing PL level players comes with huge wages and we could easily end up losing £20/30m operating like we did under Short. This regime simply won't do that imo.
We won't spend close to £100m imo.
Our limit will be above that I'm guessing. Don't believe we will spend close to the limit though.Depends if the limit is around £60m as we'd need to spend more than that to be competitive
Cheaper tickets overall and having concessions around 90 odd percent of the ground probably being the main factor. I've posted a few times about this as we will have more U22s going to games than most clubs due to the generous pricing structure and large capacity. The positive of this is that the club get kids hooked at a young age so they will go even when times are shite. Some clubs won't have this as they're concession areas are limited to 1 stand or even area so less families will be able to afford to pay full price elsewhere or there isn't enough tickets. Why is our matchday revenue smaller than clubs with smaller grounds than ourselves? I don’t think we will go stupid but still think there will be a pretty significant shift to what we have seen so far.Won't matter because the club won't be interested in being near the limit I'm guessing.

I agree. I just think you still see PL clubs losing loads of money, like tens of millions even with the tv money. Can't see us being one of them. We will still want to be as sustainable as possible and keep owner cash input down.I don’t think we will go stupid but still think there will be a pretty significant shift to what we have seen so far.
I think Grumpy said it was 60 million on another thread. So without selling any players, how much could we spend without impacting on PSR?
I think the rolling 3 year loss allowable going into next year is £61m (£13m+£13m+£35). We could spend over 100m and still make a profit because of the big increase in revenue (minimum £130m). So whilst we could spend well over 100m we would still be within allowable limits for PSR. Still think we will be financially sensible though and not blow the lot asap.I think Grumpy said it was 60 million on another thread.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rigg or one of the other academy players go to enable us to spend more.
It’s not about how big the budget is, it’s about how it’s spent. So without selling any players, how much could we spend without impacting on PSR?
