The first stage of the forum upgrades has now been completed but they remain in a degraded state and are still being worked on.

Thats 40-50m along with the 20m already spent on Enzo, which would bring it up to 60-70m
I'm not really sure why anyone would think we'd spend 100m this summer when that's just not how the board operates. They'll bring in loans with options to buy, and then buy a couple around 10m each, which will be double of the 3/4m's we paying for a player last year.
I'm sure we'd all like them to throw more money about to get some serious quality in, but I doubt the board will change tact. They'll be planning for relegation, along with a small chance of staying up.
Cheaper tickets overall and having concessions around 90 odd percent of the ground probably being the main factor. I've posted a few times about this as we will have more U22s going to games than most clubs due to the generous pricing structure and large capacity. The positive of this is that the club get kids hooked at a young age so they will go even when times are shite. Some clubs won't have this as they're concession areas are limited to 1 stand or even area so less families will be able to afford to pay full price elsewhere or there isn't enough tickets.
Last time in the PL we were the cheapest average per fan ticket cost based on rough figures. This is one of a few posts that explains why the likes of Leeds can get £30m in gate receipts from less fans. Other clubs generate far more revenue but that's because they're limited in capacity so they just increase prices and let the more affluent fans get the tickets such as Southampton, Brighton, Fulham and even Brentford as you can see in the table in this link below.
Looks good tbf, looks little bit lop sided but not to the ridiculous levels of the st james

We've just dropped the U16 band to U14 and the East & West stands are now considerably higher in those bands. I pointed this out in March when the prices were released and it's a sign of what's to come if we do stay in the Premier League.
thought they might have frozen the kids prices. mine and 2 kids have gone up from £530 to £620 in total , canny old % increase I don’t understand why they have u14 then u18, it should be u16 tickets as that’s school kids then maybe a slight discount for 16-18 fir college kids Yeah I think...

The mags are already feeling the pinch as tickets have went up, concession areas are small but demand still exceeds supply so they created the membership. This has an effect on their atmosphere as you see many fans complaining about it as it's different people in seats every week. They will also restrict the amount of season tickets for sale (1,000s have just ended that 10 year deal) and do the ticket lottery instead for 1,000s of seats given it generates more revenue. Leeds already do this as it's been said on here by Leeds fans.
That's the greed in football and I do hope we don't go down that road and just milk the fans for all they can. Football isn't all about winning the Premier League as for some it's a social gathering with family and friends that has been passed down through generations. For those who want to be at the top you may well pay the price of not being able to afford to go as some other richer glory seeker will sit in your seat instead and that's what most clubs are bothered about these days.
