Man Utd potentially relegated next season ?

Them and Spurs are the other side of the Forrest/Villa coin.
Glad to see them out of the way and others having a go. As unpopular as it is to say, it’s good to see Newcastle get in and disrupt the ‘top 6’ .
By spending over half a billion of blood money. behave you silly sausage

Possibly...the team needs a massive overhaul...De Ligt is a waste of money....Martinez is made of wotsits...Garnacho is as consistent as L1 refs...Hoijlund is the biggest waste of money since the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony...and we all know about Onana...

There's some players,Yoro looks raw but decent...Dorgu looks decent and has some pace and directness about him....Amad is god...and Fernandes if they keep him has made me humble my words this season and stepped up...Mount's looked hungry again (injury worry though)

they need to fill the gaps and manager needs to get them onboard..

there's games this season where they've looked decent but not got the result because they haven't someone who can stick the ball in the net from half chances..

Fernandes is part of the problem. I'd sell no bother for the rumoured 80-100m. Selfish footballer and toys out thr pram constantly.

Hes the captain and couldn't lead a seagull to the coast. Complete baby.

Their rot stinks as bad as ours with Moyes or the mags' under Sheerah. Players can't wait to get out and immediately start performing the moment they do. The only proper cure for that is a few years in League 1.
Amad please get out while you can! ;)

They need a Scot, the only times they have been really successful is with a Scot in charge. From the early '70's when Busby retired to 1990 when Fergie won the Cup they were an average Div 1 team with a spell in Div 2.
Tommy Doc

Bruno Fernandes could be off to Saudi.

Amorim will be gutted they haven't sacked him yet. give it 6 weeks from season start i reckon before they have someone who knows what they're doing

it's madness to think your looking at Man United now thinking aye wouldn't particularly mind them first game

He sounds like he wants out. The players are substandard and even these are not happy. There is no reason why they won't go down. They are really at a low point and it doesn't seem to be the lowest.
The goings on behind the scene echo ours in the dark days.
Laying off cleaners and kitchen staff. Saddled with huge debt of players on massive inflated contracts and zero desire to fight for the shirt.
Players giving fans shit and vice versa. Owner way way out of touch with the running of a club.
They are in free fall.

They cant even land Delap from IPSWICH! Bruno, garnacho possibly leaving. Not looking good for them :D at 16/1 to be relegate, mmm I wouldve bet a tenner for that lol
Apparently you could get odds of a million to one on United and City getting relegated last season. I nearly invested a pound, but thought better of it.

Now those odds will have shrunk for next season as a result of united being utterly woeful but even at 250,000/1 it’s not the worst bet in the world. All it takes is the investigation to find city (very) guilty and United to continue on the same trajectory under Glinios… 💡

he's not going to walk away from the payoff but i think he'd actually be buzzing if they put him out of his misery. body language constantly screams get me out of here

A lot of teams have lost that air of invincibility over the last couple of years. Even their neighbours can be gotten at

I think we'd see some astonishing decisions go their way if they were in real trouble though. They just make too much money worldwide for the brand.
How much of their worldwide brand was built on dominating the Premier League beamed around the world?

Won 7 of the first 10 titles, finished 2nd twice and 3rd once. Another 5 titles in the next 10 with three 2nds and two 3rds.

Then just 1 title in the next 10, the first year. Just two 2nds and one 3rd. Finished 4th, 5th, 6th three times & 7th.

Now 3 years into the next chunk of 10 and it's 3rd, 8th and 15th.

Any global kids watching the Premier League haven't seen Man Utd win it if they're under 13. They're growing up with a more Man City dominance and some strong Liverpool showings. A few more seasons like the last two and I can really see them fading in global brand terms. Still wouldn't put money on them being relegated in the next few years.

To be honest, they'll have the optiion of breaking the FFP rules, signing a load of good players and taking the fine and giving all of the promoted clubs a 10 point head start and expect to finish above us all.
