Man Utd potentially relegated next season ?

Antony,Sancho and Rashford all going back after loans , they are a club full of underachieving stars on huge wages that haven’t performed for countless managers

They won’t go down though unfortunately

They could be in serious bother, he's there best player alongside Amad by a country mile
Lose Fernandes to Saudi and Amad to us and they could be in all sorts of bother.

No reason to assume that if they stick with Amorim and with Glinios making such an absolute mess of their transfer strategy that they will improve one iota.

They will be top half IMO providing they can bring in a striker that knows where the goal is.

They sacked the premier league off halfway through last season, no European football means that can't happen next season. Will need a few good windows before they are realistic contenders at the top but that team with the addition of a proven striker is more than capable of top half. Not sure where that proven striker is coming from though? They are supposedly in Naples discussing a deal of 30m + Hojlund for Osimen but I would be staggered if Ratcliffe sanctioned the kind of wages Osimen wants.

Personally think they would be mad to turn down 100m for Fernandez as well. 30yo, petulant and doesn't really fit the system. Very good player but they can't be turning down 100m+ for a 30yo in their financial position.

Are you alright mate?

Going through posts because I said your post had nowt to do with the point being discussed. It's nowhere near enough to get angry about, honestly.
Ha no I was gonna look thrrough your posts then realized couldnt be bothered, I actually think you’re a good poster and I agree with a lot of what you say

Don’t agree with this post mind and I dunno why you cared before like

Never mind

United are 6th in the betting. No Europe to worry about and they look intent on spending come cash. They’ll qualify for Europe next season, which tournament is yet to be seen!

Man Utd v Sunderland May 2026, last game of the season and winner stays up. Meyenda late winner to keep us up, Man Utd sent down. Bookmark it.
I'd enjoy that almost as much as when we relegated the mags by beating Everton. ALMOST but not really.

I'd ring my ManU supporting cousin, the only member of my blood family NOT a Sunderland fan, offering the most insincere "Good luck next season in the Championship" imaginable.

Then msg all my mates who support them but mostly live nowhere near the Midlands much less Manchester to offer similar 'condolences'. And I'd not give a feck how small time it was given the bluster and bullshit I've heard from them for decades.

They're in a death spiral and I can't see any reason why it won't continue

Club is toxic from top to bottom. Amorim has a worse points per game ration than Paul Jewel.

They'll have around 10 points after 10 games and will start thinking about sacking Amorim imo.

Them and Spurs are the other side of the Forrest/Villa coin.
Glad to see them out of the way and others having a go. As unpopular as it is to say, it’s good to see Newcastle get in and disrupt the ‘top 6’ .
Its inevitable that the mags will win more once the heid loppers figure out a way to circumvent the rules, so they can just hoy piles of blood money at their project. I long ago resigned myself to that as a fact. I take some solace from the truth that anything they win is tainted by both the manor of their purchase and who owns them. Almost every mag I know doesn't give a shit as they have zero scruples which is why the boys from Riyadh bought them and not ManU, Arsenal or anyother team, as cash was never an issue but public scrutiny was. They've bought success in the same way other clubs have only their benefactors are the very worst of the worst.

I'd really not want them to win the league though. NEVER.
