We could do with a good 4* star plus hotel, with good facilities and a good restaurant. Britannia Hotel, Seaburn , needs millions spent on it to bring it back to its former glory.

Would rather see the bars and restaurants in the centre reap the rewards, and the club should be behind that as well. Both the city and club go hand in hand. There’s also The Stables which is better than any fanzone could be imo, as well as the Beacon which actually classes itself as a fanzone on matchdays for those with younger kids.

It’s not like, it’s about standard pricing for these days. It’s also class and deserves the support it gets for the investment they’ve put into it. What would a Fanzone have that between the Beacon and Stables we don’t already have?

Aye there’s absolutely no need. Capacity is fine as it is. Even if we had a few years of what you describe, I’d still rather we created a situation where demand outstrips supply. And then much later if that situation remains sustainable, only then should it be explored.

Need to get the electronic screens above the North and South stands upgraded, look horrible with those mismatched replacement panels.

When you look at what other grounds have they’re like the equivalent of the Roker End score box (quaint as it was).

I agree. We really should get new ones, the one above the north stand is particularly bad. Also, I like what Stoke have done with having mini repeater screens under the roof. Could be done with the sound end of the premier concourse, and the top of the upper north stand (away stand) where you can’t see the displays for the time etc.

If we are talking about away fan visitors, most will think the Sheepfolds is for nowt, and will love it.
We do need to market the new footbridge access to encourage having them stay in town, or at least eat and drink there.

Leaving the ground after the beam-back on Saturday, it looked like there was already some stuff going on around the ground - parts of the paved area near the Stokoe statue were in the process of getting dug up.

Most cost effective way to improve the concourse experience would be to have the turnstiles outside, could then just have the current exits opened up on match days which could double the overall space, stack like containers for bars and food and canopies to cover for the winter

Gives the smokers somewhere to go as well instead of taking up space in the bogs.
