Had this little fellow sitting in the garden watching us work all day.

The poor little fox cub had an injured leg and was struggling to walk on it so I don't think It'll fare very well if the mother isn't around. We were close enough to touch it but I thought better of it, just in case it bit or tried to run away on its gammy leg.
Had one in the garden a couple of days ago. It could see me inside my house but it didn't seem bothered at all, I'm sure if I showed a bit of patience I could get it to take food out of my hand.Glorious animals. Absolutely beautiful.

Last couple of weeks I have seen what I take to be a bird of prey chasing birds over the river next to the stadium of light.
It is gingery Brown, with a fan shaped tail, seems to terrify other birds and can't half shift. Once it was sitting on a fence post and watched me cycle past giving me a look of complete indifference, which was fair enough.
Any ideas?

Would be nice to see Kate Humble, Simon King & Martin Hughes-Games return but i think only 2 out of the 3 would be welcome back
Had mine on the phone for ages it's a really good app. It makes it easier to spot the birds as you know what you're looking for when it recognises the bird song. Use mine on the dog walk aswell. Makes the walk even better. If anyone wants to know the wild bird songs download the app called Merlin.
Just hold the phone up, turn the recording on the app and it will pick out the sounds and picture the birds.
Have to say I tried it out for the first time on the dog walk this Morning.
Impressed as I could hear 4 birds and knew the sounds. The app noted a Whitethroat, Skylark, Wood Pigeon and Crow.
IMO Hughes Games was rubbish, just some posh kid producer who fancied himself as a presenter. You are the only person I've seen express any regret at his leaving the show!He was sacked after a complaint about his behaviour
