Tommy Watson

I have and see absolutely nothing to suggest over 50% of PL footballers are on less than £30k like you claimed.

If its easy to find then send me it.
Do a few basic sums. You’ll soon see that if every 18 year old squad player in the PL was on 40/50/60k week every club would break ffp rules. You carry on believing that a kid who has played 10 championship games and never played in the Pl is on 60K / week then fine, bigger fool you.
Pedro at Brighton is on 50k/week. Tommy Watson is supposedly on more? Get a f***ing grip…

Half of Brightons squad are on 30K/week or less.
Only 3 players in the whole of the Ipswich squad on more than 30k/wedk

No chance that more than half of premier league footballers are on less than 30k a week unless you are including u21 squads etc. Brightons wage bill last season was £146 million from their official accounts. What you are linking to is utter guesswork. There is no way of knowing everyone’s individual salary. That said I doubt Watson is on 60k a week. I would guess around 15/20.

Which is what I said all along 15-20k. According to sone on here Watson is on more than Pedro. 😆

I never once said Watson is on 60k a week. He won't be.

The only thing I pulled you up on was over 50% of PL players are on less than 30k a week. It's nonsense and has no factual basis.

You also can't take a random website as 'fact' for your wages. The only factual evidence is the clubs total wage bill submitted in their accounts. That is one of the metrics used to determine the average wage.

Do done sums man. Looking at that website 90% of Ipswich were on less than 30k
The website is compoete guesswork. It's also a newly promoted team you're talking about. They'll be in the bottom 3 wage bills easily. Go up even 5 places and the wage bill will probably double.

£146m divided by say even 30 players is over £90k a week.

Pure nonsense to say less than half the players in the PL are on under 30k

Back in 2017 the average passed 50k a week for PL players.

They say it’s around 70k a week now.

Just like when people were claiming we were paying some 1st teamers like £1000 a week.

I think the Watson claim was £60k p/m not week which isn't that outlandish.

hopefully the lad goes to Brighton and fulfils his add on clauses.

I also hope he isnt in the squad for the final, thats for the lads who have a future here.
