Yes, I agree, but is doesn't change the fact it is an unjust law. Liking having beers in seats or not is irrelevant to the equity of the law.I get where you’re coming from but, in reality, if we had a vote in here whether to allow drinking in the stands, I suspect the vast majority wouldn’t.
Why- because a small minority of people would abuse it, chuck pints around, and ruin the match for the majority of supporters.
When this happened, a minority of people would come in here defending it as kids having fun etc. etc.
Attendances would decrease as a result
If this behaviour leaving a higher proportion of idiots in the crowd to make the situation progressively worse.
Football, if we like it or not, is on a path to a more US experience with refreshments ordered in phones and delivered to seats in stands and no segregation all of which I would welcome- it’ll come, just maybe not in my lifetime.
Bit like a gig or festival.Well we would just end up covered in beer after a goal.
beer shower and plastic pints in the air. I like that everyone has a beer in your situation though, I'm voting for your world.Let's set the scene. Sunderland get recorder at the end of the game on Tuesday. It's lifted into the box, and Ballard stooped for it. Everyone around you had a beer in their hand!
What happens next?
