Lancashire

I was chatting to a Lancs supporter of 50 years at the end of our home game last season after we had hammered them and pretty much condemned them to the drop. I offered him the consolation that they would come straight back up. He first of all went into a rant about Benkenstein, then smiled and shook his head and predicted they would be in Div 2 " for at least 5 years". Seems like he could be right.

Over the past couple of years Lancs seem more interested in trying to sell themselves to the highest IPL bidder than developing and performing on the pitch

Beaten again and bottom of division 2. What a mess

Benk is a terrible coach, how did he even get the job?

Their team on paper is excellent, it’s hard to get 20 wickets at Old Trafford mind but they need a new coach and probably a new captain

This wouldn’t surprise me a bit. They keep spending fortunes on new developments. On top of that England games don’t seem to sell out anymore unless it’s an Aus or India test while Blast/100 games are virtually empty.
Plenty of gigs on during the summer and I've been to a Christmas do at their conferencing facility. I've not looked at their financials or followed their team that closely but they definitely seem to sweat the assets.

No test till 2027 and some of their International white ball games get washed out
Has he still not played?? thought he was only meant to miss first 2 rounds

100 Game i went to last year it was full, granted it was the derby between superchargers, did read somewhere though that only the concerts the last couple of years have stopped them going under
And the money from Man Utd as they use the Point for matchday corporate
