Elland road upgrade

The cheek to call others thick with that load of illiterate twaddle is not lost

Not the brightest are you. ;)

They'll never be as embarrassing as the Papa Johns 3498 :D
The best crowd Leeds have ever had was because Sunderland brought down a massive following. A bigger following than Leeds have ever brought to Sunderland (or anywhere else probably). I hope my literacy meets with your approval, but be aware, your following posts will be closely scrutinized.

We would have sold out for a play off semi final within hours.
Of course you would have sold out

Because your grounds tiny

Because historically you don’t support your club well

( no 40k average when having best team in the land , despite ground holding 50,500 and mass desertion when in league 1)

So we keep going round in circles with you. It’s like that film where a man kept waking up and the same thing kept happening.

We would’ve sold out from just the season ticket phase alone bearing in mind the away end and corporate capacities, had our ground had your capacity. Before many thousands of Leeds fans decided it was fashionable to attend and show an interest in LUFC again, I doubt you would’ve filled a nearly 50k capacity ground in hours. With your Johnny come latelys and smaller capacity, aye maybe. Big deal.

An interesting fact:

Leeds and Portsmouth are the only two clubs outside the premiership this season who have a season ticket waiting list. Mad that.

Yep…got me there. I’m afraid you’re just too clever for me. Very well played sir 🤔
We have the Boro divvies, the Mag divvies, the Coventry divvies, the Portsmouth divvies and now the Leeds divvies on this board trying to justify their importance. Your insecurity is a sad thing but I hope your mental health improves. Your user name speaks volumes of your low self-esteem.

Small grounds being a reason for that. Elland Road is a desperate place to visit

Last season against Norwich, the tickets sold out straight away with thousands left disappointed.

These tickets were of course priced at "category A" (highest price) as the demand was so high, as it should be for a play off semi final.

No self respecting big club should need cheap tickets or gimmicks to sell out their stadium for such an important fixture.

No self respecting club has supporters that turn up when they’re winning. Leeds have a shocking recent history of attendance's. No wonder Wednesday are regarded as bigger.

As would have ours with a capacity your size.

I don't think luton do.

Portsmouth have around a 6000 season ticket waiting list and I think leeds a similar number.

I don’t know why I am even arguing with you. Your “fact” of 2 clubs is now only 50% correct. And I have others in my back pocket that I can’t be pestered to upload.

Can you remind me of the opposition for Leeds biggest home crowd in the league this season? I think you will probably find it once again featured the team you are failing to belittle. Leeds get big crowds when Sunderland turn up. Unfortunately, we aren't so bothered about Leeds. If we had a ground as small as Elland Road you could make meaningful comparisons but at the moment your posts are as small-minded as the the ground of the team you purport to support. Sadly, you are coming across as a mag rather than a Leeds supporter.
Why is it nonsense to state facts based on last seasons semi final v Norwich City?

Am I making it up?

Very strange.

Your grounds too big for you.
Please don't criticise other posters for their literacy skills when you fail to understand the importance of apostrophes.

You wouldn't pay the ticket prices we do, and you know it too.

When the demand isn't high, they have to price accordingly and offer cheap concession prices in multiple categories to attract customers, then it is open to abuse by tight adults not willing to pay the going rate.

We might be able to charge higher if we had hundreds of thousands more people on the doorstep as our pool of potential support. And in what world is £32-£36 ‘cheap’?

I don't like Leeds but let's face facts, these days they have a bigger fanbase than Sunderland. If Leeds had a 50k stadium right now they'd fill it every week. Probably would sell 60k next season in the prem if capacity allowed.

Sunderland have very good support and its no disrespect to safc but Leeds have a fanbase that is top 5 or 6 in the country, that's the truth of the matter.
1) you are a Leeds fan
2) why would they get 50-60k when they have never managed 40k. They won’t get West Ham tourist fans
3) why build a big ground when you know when you go on a bad run you drop to 22-25k
4) not top 6. Top 12 yes. Have a look at historical crowds. Any club ( forest, boro, Leicester, Brighton, Stoke ) can get a few years sell outs when things are going well.
But that includes the froth fans , who disappear as quick as they arrive.
And I have put your bait up already on post 376 , and packed away Geldered on 363 , without barely raising an eyebrow. So I will wander off into the sunset now.
