I would be amazed if we did anything at Coventry. All season this team has proven itself to be pretty spineless. We can knock it around when it suits us but when you are soft as shit it doesn't really mean much.

I cannot believe we are in with a chance of play offs given how dissapointing our season has been. Carrick likely to go.

The frustrating thing for Boro is, you should have been promoted when Luton went up.

Ill never understand why you didn’t go all out to knock Coventry out of the play offs on the last day. Perhaps this weekend provides you the opportunity for a bit of revenge?

They rested players before the play offs ATL free qualifying with a few games left iirc….

They will be but they will very quickly get nervous if other results go against them as well.

Plus of course they will know that at some point during the match, you will need to go for it.

Mind, that's been mine (and other people's) main 'annoyance' lately.
Matches where we need to go for it - especially when other results are going our way - we just don't ( or don't seem to).

It's just plod, pod, plod and let's hope summat happens.

That’s worrying for you then. We turned up to Coventry to just knock it about slowly like we usually do and they bullied us all over the pitch. They played high press, high energy football and we folded like a pack of cards. On the plus side for you, Haji Wright appears only to turn up twice a season, feels like it to us in any case.

You have to remember mate, they bizarrely see us as a bit of a derby match. When they deservedly beat us a couple of months back, it was obvious from kick off they were well up for it.

If Coventry do get into the play offs and we have to play them, the first leg is a genuine concern. I can see them being so pumped up for the game, our young team will struggle.
